ABOUT OUR COMPANY:TV News Sales Co. has been in business since 1957.We are a family business and we are now on our second generation.

 

HOW OUR COMPANY WORKS: We are called “DIRECT WHOLESALERS” which means that you will receive all the publications you want to carry DIRECTLY from the publishers printing plants via US Mail or UPS.TV News Sales Co. does NOT do the shipping--- the publishers do.We do the ordering, billing and returns for the publishers.

 

HOW TO ORDER:Look over the attached listing of all titles we offer.Check off any publications you would like to carry in your store. The titles you carry are up to you… you can carry one title or all of them… it is your choice.Then all you have to do is mail or fax us the complete list of titles you want to carry (be sure to send us all the pages even if there is nothing checked off on a page) and the credit application completely filled out and signed.That is all you have to do!!!You will receive an acknowledgement letter from us within 7 days of receiving your order.If you do not receive this acknowledgement letter –give us a call to be sure we received your order.

 

HOW DO I PAY?You will receive an invoice from us once a month at the end of every month.All titles that are now OFF SALE will be listed on your invoice.You will deduct all unsold magazines directly off your invoice.You will only pay us only for magazines that you have SOLD.It is a great consignment program.The invoice is sent in duplicate… you must send us the top white copy and payment for all magazines sold and unsold headings (see next paragraph)

 

DO I SEND BACK THE COMPLETE UNSOLD MAGAZINE?The great news is – NO!!We do need a small portion of every unsold front cover that shows the magazine name and issue date (we will send you a copy of what needs to be returned included in the acknowledgement letter) and you MUST destroy the rest of the magazine.IN ORDER TO ISSUE CREDIT WE DO NEED A SMALL PORTION OF EVERY UNSOLD FRONT COVER—IT MUST SHOW THE MAGAZINE NAME AND ISSUE DATE!

 

TERMS:All invoices are due back net 25 days from invoice date.NO EXCEPTIONS.Your discount is 20 % off cover.You do not even have to calculate the discount—it is already done on your invoice.There are no delivery fees, service fees or hidden costs!

 

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET STARTED? Due to the fact that we do not do the shipping- we MUST order in advance from the publishers.They have to have their orders done very early.It will take approximately 5-6 weeks to receive your weekly titles and 3 issues to receive your monthly issues.It sounds like a long time but you have to remember all monthly titles are on-sale the month before (ex:Jan. issues are on sale in Dec.)Please realize that we CANNOT get you started tomorrow… it takes time… but once you start receiving your titles you will receive them regularly.

 

HOW DO I DISPLAY THE MAGAZINES?We will gladly send you a magazine display free of charge. ( Unfortunately, if you discontinue service within ONE YEAR of starting to receive magazines, you will be responsible for full payment of the rack ). Be sure to check off the box on the last page of magazine titles that says you need a rack.All racks are floor stands and we will order you a rack that will fit the number of different titles you order.You will receive the rack directly from the rack manufacturer.Since magazine headlines sell themselves, we strongly suggest that you display them prominently by your check out counter.
